CEREMONY and RECEPTION

We will be getting married in Travis Park, in San Antonio. For anyone who knew San Antonio a few years back, they are always shocked that we would consider doing this. Travis Park has been referred to as "hobo park" by many a San Antonian. However, Phil's sister, Lori, and her team have been working hard and just reopened Travis Park after a huge overhaul. The park now looks wonderful and will host many fantastic events this summer. 

The wedding reception will take place at the St. Anthony Hotel, located just across the street from Travis Park. The St. Anthony has been a top wedding venue for the last 100 years and since 1940, they have welcomed back couples who were married at the hotel with a special discounted rate- the same price they paid on the night they were married. The Hotel has also been under renovation (apparently we like things that are old, but new) and will complete its $30 million renovation in September. Lori, and her husband, Sam, have toured the hotel and said it will be gorgeous. We are very excited to check it out ourselves!
